My ultimate nod to fairies and elves, and to things seen and not seen. This piece is a mixed media on canvas: laid out in acrylic and finished in oil.
This an example of my ability to create a landscape that doesn’t exist in realty ( or maybe it does!), and make you believe in its possibilities. Fall is a wonderful feeling to paint!
Another tribute to the Sierra Mountains, in this case, Echo Lake: spent alot of time there, both in the summer and winter. The water is crystal clear and the vistas breathtaking.
Another journey for you to take with me. Our trusty little truck braves the steep incline to adventures unknown.
I wanted to capture that first moment when the sun breaks over the hills and mountains to awaken this little farm. Old trucks populate many of my paintings; And then there is the road for you to follow…
I grew up in the Sierra Mountains, and there is nothing more magical than moonlit night reflecting the snowy peaks in the distance.
I am truly fascinated by lighting, and this small painting glows because of the distant thunder storm. I wanted the viewer to feel the power of the elements, and the safety of the homestead.
This piece was done at one of my favorite destinations: Virginia City, Nevada. Whenever I am in the area I always head up there for inspiration.

That wrong turn has left you out with the cows! I truly love painting old trucks, and have done several pieces over the course of my career.
